VKO EFL Teachers

My dear English Teachers! The year is coming up to its end, and according to a good old tradition we are looking back considering our achievements and making plans for future. For me this year divides into two different parts. During the first half I had the opportunity to work close with English teachers, had a number of courses and events and have found out some of your needs and successes.  In summer there happened a new experience in my life; I was taught to become a trainer on PISA (Programme for International Student Assessment). This is a new exam format for 15-year students, and my direction is Reading Literacy. The second semester I worked with teachers of Russian Language and Literature on PISA, but my experience of teaching active leaning in English classroom has helped me a lot, as well as I have acquired much to share with you, my dear colleagues.  I am looking forward to seeing you in a New Year, and glad to inform there are 4 courses and a number of events planned specially for you. My biggest ambitious intention is to carry out through the whole curriculum the idea of Content Language Integrating Learning (CLIL). Recent seminar on British Council resources for EFL teachers. In two days 55 teachers have participated. You are so active!

Seminar with Carol in Ridder. Those were so professional and helpful meetings. Do hope this year we will also have beautiful opportunities meeting with native speakers and professionals.
